We joined 'The World's Biggest Lesson'

We are continuing to campaign for education for all children by joining in the Send My Friend to School Biggest Lesson.
We will be sending postcards about the importance of education for all to Gordon Brown before he leaves for the G8 summit.

Year of Reading Focus Week
2nd - 6th June
There are some great websites to explore which support the Year of Reading.

|
Friday 6th June welcomes the Roving Book Shop to school and is Book Character Day.
Dress up as a favourite book character OR choose to wear uniform that day. Choose some summer reading from the largest ever bookshop in school.
Open all day for classes and until 5 p.m. for parents.

NEW - SAM Learning comes to Y5 and Y6
|
|
We have just introduced a web-based home learning programme which helps children to prepare for the upcoming KS2 and Optional SATs. Children can log their hrs and keep improving their scores! It is a very user friendly programme which allows children and parents to see the progress being made.
