Walking Bus 
Dobcroft Junior now operates 4 Walking Bus Routes. This initiative is co-ordinated by our School Travel Champion who is also a parent governor and is run by parent volunteers. It relies on the good will of all these volunteers to operate and is an integral part of our healthy schools and sustainable school work.
Each bus is staffed by an adult 'Driver' and an adult 'Conductor'. Some routes operate on two days of the week and the others on one day a week. This of course depends on the numbers of parents or carers who offer to take on the role of driver or conductor. All adults are fully trained and have CRB checks.
